The Badge earner has a good understanding of the local linguistic context and is able to navigate different situations in their daily life (at work and in their personal time).
To earn this badge, the person:
- Has (at least) a basic understanding of the two local languages;
- Is able to reflect on the cultural significance of language;
- Is able to reflect and assess their own progress during the time spent so far.
